Re-press of Burn! Red Vinyl......

Have to say that this album is one of the best I ever made! A collaboration with Eddie Roberts from The New Mastersounds. Originally released on CD in 2011, Legere have just issued it on a lovely Red Vinyl! Looks great and it sounds heavy! Recorded to tape and mixed by Eddie himself.

It features originals by myself and Eddie as well as some killer versions of some of our favourite tracks like I Believe in Miracles (Marc Capanni version), Lonely for you Baby (Sam Dees), Lope Song (Eddie Russ), Latona (Big John Patton) and Workout (Hank Mobley).

I think it captures a real high point in Anglo-Spanish funk as it was recorded in Madrid using Javi Skunk on drums and Santi Martin on bass from The Sweet Vandals. With the addition of my long time collaborator Taz Modi on the hammond, it was quite a band and quite a session. Hard Funk, Soul-Jazz and Bugaloo.
